From the previous assignment of compiling sets of furniture, begin construction of selected furniture by your lecturer.

Note: Furniture pieces must be selected by lecturers.

Objective:

1. Observe the selected furniture's form, joints, parts, proportion, scale and dimensions.

2. Create the 3D model accordingly via your student work file.

3. Ensure that Vray Rectangular Light and a Camera is kept in the scene.

4. You may also download scenes from online and use it as a backdrop work file to work with.

5. You may also create your own backdrop in 3D modeling.

Final Objective:

To create 4 Presentation boards.

Presentation Board 01 - Chair Presentation Board

Presentation Board 02 - Table Presentation Board

Presentation Board 03 - Lamp Presentation Board

Presentation Board 04 - Combined Chair, Table & Lamp Presentation Board.

Requirements:

1. Materials may differ from original design.

2. For presentation board 1 2 & 3, different views of the furnitures are required. E.g top view, front view, side view and perspective view.

3. When laying the presentation board, ensure there is a focus image. Usually larger image compared to the other views. 4. Have a simple concept text of the furniture. Must be self created.
5. Views are to be annotated.
6. Observe object & material texture proportion and scale.

7. Observe proper lighting.

8. A backdrop for all presentation board must be included whether it is done in 3D Max or in Photoshop is up to individual students.

9. You may include mood images or material images in your presentation board.

10. Finally and most importantly, come up with a name for each piece of furniture for presentation board 1 2 & 3. For presentation board 04, you will need to come up with a "Set name" as you will be "selling it" as a set.

11. SUBMISSION LESSON 06 in A3 Colour Print normal paper. 12. DO NOT MOUNT ON ANY FOAM BOARD
